SAFEGUARDING- 

All our staff are DBS checked and supervised. In order to ensure the safety and wellbeing of your child.

Risk assessments and checks are done daily to promote health and safety of all children and staff. All staff are trained in paediatric first aid and food hygiene when they first join us.

OUR NURSERY - 

We are a local community pre-school based in a large church hall offering a wide range of activities, promoting valuable fun learning experiences for all children through the early years foundation stage.

St Andrews is located on the edge of the forest and therefore we are able to incorporate this amazing educational resource into every exciting learning day.

THE HALL -

The hall gives children a large area in which to move freely and explore their environment  enabling them to see all the activities set up for them and choose which one they prefer. 

In an early years environment it's important to make children feel empowered by allowing them to take control and make their own choice

 

THE GARDEN - 

The Garden allows children to develop their gross motor skills and allows them to explore their surroundings and the nature around them. 

The garden has a range of activities for your child to enjoy. such as a sand pit, play houses, musical instruments, slides and much more!

The forest and outdoor area help in developing children's senses and spatial awareness .

THE FOREST -

 We are very privileged to have a forest on our doorstep and we take total advantage of this fact.

Children get the opportunity to take a walk through the forest and do fun activities.
